No, it wasn't painful. But it was scary all right.
10 minutes of fear was all it took. Now I need one month to recover. Corneas are still "unglued" you see, so I musn't touch my eyes one bit. Sleeping with goggles now and I scotch-taped the goggles to my face.
Haven't been sleeping well but what to do? I'm very scared that I might rub my eyes and scratch out my corneas accidentally!!
Night vision is ok, no halos, no ghostly glows.

*Note: Don't say I didn't warn you. This video made me squirm and I couldn't watch more than half of it. Watch it if you really want to.
My surgery was similar, except that my corneas were cut using laser instead of the micro-blade in the video. And no, I didn't bleed. I think. Not supposed to bleed anyway.
